The Congress of Wonders was een komisch duo. Ze brachten 2 albums uit op het Fantasy label. Het eerste 'Revolting' verscheen in 1970, dit 2e album 'Sophomoric' in 1972.

"From the San Francisco Bay Area, the Congress of Wonders comedy team made a couple of albums reflecting the concerns of the late-'60s/early-'70s hippie counterculture: drugs, sex, and political/social satire. They used the studio as a tool to enhance their sketches rather than simply record them for posterity, incorporating sound effects and tightly edited overlapping dialogue. They weren't quite as sophisticated, and were a little less subtle in their brand of humor, sometimes framing it within mock commercials, soap operas and plays."
